Delicious and nice staff.

Eat Vapiano like (pasta better than pizza) Staff ok

Normally I love Vapiano's but this visit missed the mark. I ordered a Reef and beef meal and got 3 tiny pieces of beef. I actually had to search for them. This was one in 4 years, but a review should contain full disclosure.

Reasonably priced Italian selections and very generous portions!

Everything perfect! Especially for people with celiac disease.

Rather unfriendly The food tasted good and wasn't too expensive ... But: We were not welcomed, treated or served in a friendly way either with the distribution of food or with the drinks ... In some cases we stood for a long time until they even noticed us ... What a shame ... I would also like tongs and / or gloves to prepare the food ... Right now, but actually always ... I don't have to go back to this branch ...

It can be very good - some visits are good to satisfactory.

Good I did like the spicy peppers added to my meal. However the new menu was a site to see. I ate there alot when i was here in 2016 to 2018. We will be back.

Beef is very hard and gummy so get chicken or other meat instead. Otherwise excellent food, clean place, big portions of food and a lot of options to pick.

The hosts are super nice, the food is amazing! But the cooks are rude.

Was there yesterday for the first time to love my girlfriend I stayed. But will not visit it again. Staff at the meal was very bored simply unprofessional. Had a salad that just didn't taste like anything.

The food was delicious. However, the whole atmosphere was strange. When guests come up the escalator, the eyes are rolled by the staff. As a guest you shouldn't feel like a disturbing factor. The cook was nice. But the rest of the staff should rethink who enables them to work. Been there first and last time .... Unfortunately

Before Corona it was really nice here. It is understandable that the offer is a bit limited, since fewer visitors come, but there is really only a very small selection, much of which is not even available. The staff were also not really friendly. We went out to eat somewhere else.

The food was delicious but the service was not great. They kept forgetting to come check up on us. I would come back for the food though 😁

We were seated (during COVID restrictions) for over 25 minutes before anyone gave us any attention. They didn’t have Zoodles (advertised on the front of the building), forgot our salad, brought our lasagna much later than the rest of the dishes, and messed up most of the rest of our order. My dish was majorly pasta-heavy and had barely any shrimp or spinach (which was the name of the dish). The children strongly disliked all the carrots in their spaghetti bolognese (and my youngest pointed out, “where’s the meat?!”). This is usually our favorite restaurant chain to visit when we go out of town (Nuremberg, Frankfurt, etc.), but we were so disappointed with every aspect of our visit here at Vapiano’s in Kaiserslautern. It wasn’t busy when we came, but they did appear to be understaffed and scatterbrained. We will never come back again and recommend our friends do the same.

Another favorite for in town dining. You can't go wrong its a safe Italian choice. Good pasta, super salads and alot of seating space.

Place was not great Alfredo sauce was dry and noodles was stuck together.

A must go to in k town. Fresh and tasty Italian food cooked in front of you. English menus and English speaking staff. The food taste great and the atmosphere is the best.

Heard about this place and was really craving some carpaccio. Walked in and greeted the "lady" with pink hair by the entrance. She shoved me 2 cards in my hands without saying a word. We walked further and sat down to see the menu. Since it was our first time I thought it'd be better to ask that same woman how it works exactly. She was resting her head on the dining table while huffing and puffing when I asked her something. She really didn't feel like helping me out, so she asked one of the cooks to explain it to me. At this point I already am irritated, because she still didn't say a word to me. The cook tried to explain me how it works, but wasn't in a good mood either. Food was alright, but not special. They were pretty stingy with the meat and fish in the salads. When we were paying for our food, the older guy behind the counter wasn't really friendly either. People here don't seem to know the simple word "Hello". Definitely won't be returning to this place.

My favorite place to eat when downtown... sorry Mr. Lians but there are much more cozy, food is freshly cooked... and they have such a good vibe with kids...

Food is super tasty and affordable. The premises are very large and open. The shortcoming was the waitress who, after every little thing, put away the dishes, immediately after finishing. You felt very watched by her.

Great place to hangout and eat with friends. It's not a fancy restaurant because it has self service in a way. You go to an open kitchen bar and order what you want, they prepare it on the spot and take it to your seat. In general the atmosphere is really cozy and comfortable and I enjoy to go with my wife. Pasta is a specialty here, Gnocchi is our favorite.
